Acceptance of Terms
When you access this site, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms described below.  If you do not agree to the terms discussed here, you should exit the site and refrain from placing any order.
 
Product Availability
Product may be added to or removed from the site from time to time.  From time to time products described on the site may not be available. While DR TOOT do not accept liability for any loss arising, every effort will be made to keep the information up to date and accurate.
 
Use of Cookies
Some pages on this site use "cookies" which are small files that the site places on your hard drive for identification purposes.  These files are used for site registration and customization the next time you visit us. You should note that cookies cannot read data on your hard drive. Your Web browser may allow you to be notified when you are receiving a cookie, giving you the choice to accept it or not. If you do not accept cookies, some pages may not function fully and you may not be able to access certain information on the site.
 
Orders, Price and Payment
Products may be ordered by following the instructions on the Online Store pages of this site.  All prices quoted are in New Zealand Dollars and include Goods and Services Tax (GST).  Prices may increase or decrease from time to time.  Orders will be accepted for delivery within New Zealand.  

Within New Zealand, online orders are delivered using courier and may require a signature upon delivery so they can be tracked.  The courier will only deliver to residential or business addresses.  Please ensure you have your order delivered to an address where someone is available to sign for it.  If you were unavailable to sign for an item when our courier called, they will leave a Card to call at the delivery address.  This Card details when the delivery was attempted.

Freight is FREE for orders over $50.00 within New Zealand. However, for order under $49.00, $5.00 flat rate will be charged. 
 
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to be placed for commercial purposes, e.g. any kind of re-seller.  We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to have been placed fraudulently.
 
Overseas Orders
Overseas ordering must be arranged on a case by case basis due to freight issues.  Please contact us directly with your full details – Full name, delivery address and contact phone number.
 
If the goods ship outside of New Zealand, GST will not apply, saving you 15% on the advertised price.  Freight costs will be quoted by enquiry only.  
 
Some products may not be available to overseas customers due to manufacturers’ distributor agreements.
 
Title and Risk
Your order is not binding until accepted by DR TOOT.  No charge will be made until the order is accepted.  Goods are at our risk until delivered to you.  However, if you do not receive your goods within a reasonable time frame, you must first lodge a missing parcel complaint with your local post office or Courier Company using the tracking number given to you by us after the order had been dispatched. This procedure must be followed before insurance will be paid out by the post office/courier service.  We may deliver each item ordered separately if we chose for supply or other reasons. If this is the case you will not incur any extra delivery cost.
 
DR TOOT take no responsibility for items not received if the incorrect address has been given for goods to be sent.
 
Cancelling Orders  
You may cancel an order which has not yet been shipped.  If you wish to do so, please contact us immediately.
 
Refunds and Returns
If you have made a payment in error, you should contact us within 1 business day explaining the reasons for your payment error. DR TOOT will investigate the claim within 3 business days and refund all or part of your payment if it is determined to our satisfaction that it was a genuine payment error.
 
Goods returned must be in original packaging and in the same saleable condition. Damaged or used product will not be accepted for credit. We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully.  If the goods are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumers Guarantee Act to provide a solution.

DR TOOT cannot accept cancellation for product that has to be imported specially at the customer’s request.  A deposit may be required at the time of order, and these products can only be returned if the product is faulty or does not conform to the product specifications.

Proof of purchase with all returns must be provided before a credit can proceed under our terms and conditions.
 
Warranties
DR TOOT offer a one year, unless otherwise specified, service warranty on all Pre-Loved Instruments.  This warranty does not cover damage that may require repairs on the instrument.  DR TOOT will replace any goods which fail to comply with any guarantee contained in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
